| Etching solution that does not contain hydrofluoric or sulfuric acid. A reusable liquid solution of ammonium bifluoride in water which can be used to etch stemware, Christmas ornaments, light bulbs, and beads. It can also be used to etch slumped and sandblasted surfaces. Produces a smooth matte finish with no unpleasant odor. Etching time is 15-30 minutes. Not suitable for Pyrex or other borosilicate glasses. |
