Hydrocal white is harder than the usual casting plaster. Excellent for casting and sculpting. It also serves well for molds or models. For parting molds, a parting agent (separator) must be used.

 

Hydrocal is an indoor material and not to be used outdoors. Must be stored in a dry atmosphere to avoid absorbing moisture. A 4.5kg mixture requires 2040-2077 ml of water (10 lb of mix to 69-77 fl. oz. of water).

 

Setting time: 25 to 35 minutes

Expansion: At final setting, 0.390% maximum

Compression strength: 5000 PSI
