This heavy-duty mortar and pestle is perfect for crushing glass. It crushes glass rods, cullet, etc, to make frit and chips for all forms of Hot Glass work, and is ideal for crushing glass for Pate-de-Verre and casting.

The carbon steel pestle bowl measures 2-3/4" (70mm) diameter x 3-1/2" (89mm) deep. The mortar fits snugly in the bowl and has a 7" (178mm) handle.
