While the introduction of lead-free solder has created a healthier environment for everyone who works with solder, the more active fluxes required to be used with it give off more fumes than ever before. The new Weller Benchtop Smoke Absorber is the perfect solution to this smoky problem.
The Weller Benchtop Smoke Absorber removes flux fumes from the benchtop by drawing the smoke through an activated carbon filter. Powered by an exceptionally quiet fan, it can process up to 1.37 cubic meters of air per minute. The collector can be easily adjusted to multiple positions, optimizing its fume-absorbent performance. Includes one filter. A 3-pack of replacement filters is available.
