Devitrification is the partial breakdown of glass into its basic components of sand, soda ash, and limestone. It affects the surface of glass when the glass is exposed to the heat of a kiln. Some types of glass lose their glossy surface easier than others, but most every glass will grow devitrification crystals if given enough time at high temperatures.
 
We offer several alternatives to eliminate this problem. Each spray is designed for specific temperature ranges.
