Firing Guidelines:
Here is a suggested firing schedule for kiln casting using frit, powder, or glass:
Stage A: Ramp from room temperature to 1000 degF in 4 hours
Stage B: Soak at 1000 degF 1 hour, to stabilize temperature
Stage C: Ramp to 1550 degF in 4 hours, adjust as necessary for bubble management
Stage D: Cool to 1000 degF as fast as possible, venting kiln if possible
Stage E: Soak at 1000 degF for 1 hour, to stabilize temperature prior to annealing
Stage F: Anneal to 800 degF over 12 hours
Stage G: Cool to 500 degF over 6 hours, then turn kiln off
