The Lost Planet Kaleidoscope Kit uses a tapered mirror system to create the illusion of a three dimensional sphere suspended in black space! Two oil wands generate swirling colorful images on the surface of the "planet". The finished scope measures 8-1/2" long x 2-1/4" square (216 x 57mm) at the base.
The kit includes three pieces of tapered front surface mirror, two Little Oil Wands, foam tape, felt pads, a brass wire, rubber O-Rings, and complete patterns and instructions. (The stained glass and soldering supplies are NOT included.)
A Lost Planet Kaleidoscope Refill is also available with all the parts but without patterns and instructions. |
