A castle of the middle ages perched on the cliffs above the Rhine River Valley. Five full-size patterns. 18.5" X 21.5". Build leaded glass pieces that look like painted fine art. Plating, popularized by Louis Comfort Tiffany, is the powerful technique of using multiple layers of glass to achieve shadows, depth, texture, and rich colorations not possible with single-layer glass windows. When you apply your glass working skills to building a plated glass window, you may never again be satisfied with ordinary patterns and one-dimension projects. Until the introduction of this remarkable series of plated windows, patterns have not been available for plating. Each package comes with the following components: One full size pattern for each layer of glass. Step-by-step instructions with a full-color photo of the finished piece, and glass selection recommendations.
