These Phillips 202 (ACE) safety glasses are designed for the beginning lampworker using MAPP gas or propane torches with soft, soda-lime glass. They may also be used for periodic viewing of fusing kiln projects.
Didymium Glass absorbs the bright yellow sodium flare (589 nm) which occurs when heating glass in the torch flame. They allow safe viewing of glass as it is worked in the flame.
The Economy 70 frame comes in smoke gray, equipped with side shields. The frame has a comfortable fit and has been a safety glass industry standard for many years. |
