The Inland DB-100 Mini Band Saw is the first diamond band saw engineered and designed to be a multiple use tool that cuts glass, stone, and a whole lot more.

Key Features:
- The DB-100 saws dozens of materials, wet or dry. It includes a diamond blade for sawing glass, ceramic, tile, stone, marble, porcelain, plastics, shells and more.
- The optional WoodCut and MetalCut blades saw wood, plastics, fiberglass, leather, thin brass and copper, tin, printed circuit boards and more.
- Replaceable BladeSert blade guides make the most intricate cuts simple. The upper blade guide is adjustable for varying material thickness.
- The coolant system provides a continuous, regulated flow of clean coolant to the diamond blade for wet sawing.
- The five part spring-loaded tension system, molded into the frame, insures proper wheel alignment, simple blade setup and perfect tracking hour after hour. The spring-loaded tension system acts like a shock absorber to protect and enhance blade life.
- The motor type is permanent magnet, high torque, with built in speed control. These are powerful DC motors that more consistently maintain torque as speed decreases.
- Integrated internal drain channels and drain tubes collect and funnel excess, dirty coolant away from the blade and prevent it from re-circulating throughout the saw.
- The work surface is made of machined aluminum 9" x 10". Drain channels funnel coolant into the internal drain system for a clean, clear view while sawing.
- The frame, cover, and water reservoir are molded entirely from structural grade thermoplastic.
- All frame and interior support walls are extra thick for maximum strength and durability.
- Its rigid and quiet. The molded plastic housing absorbs and deadens sawing and motor sounds for quiet operation. The plastic construction makes it extremely light weight and easy to handle.
- Two Year Full Confidence Warranty

Product Uses:

This is a very good light use saw. It makes very intricate cuts, however it is definitely not a high use saw or a saw for people who need to regularly saw thicker materials (ceramic tile, glass thicker than normal stained glass, etc.) Occasionally, I run into some alignment problems where the blade comes off the drive wheels. After playing around, I can usually get it going again. Buy several of those yellow blade guides--when they wear, the blade goes all over the place and is hard to control (plus it puts wear on the blade). Always have at least one ready to go because they do wear faster than the band saw blade (and I don't think I cut very aggressively...) Overall, I would rate this as a good saw for the intro user or a person who doesn't use it heavily.

It works great. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think the door should open and close without screws to make switching from glass to wood blades easier.

I work in a lab where we often need to cut sintered ceramic materials such as aluminum oxide. Until we purchased this product we had to either use a Dremel tool or a low speed Isomet saw from Buehler. We find this band saw to cut more quickly through very hard materials than the Dremel or the much more expensive Buehler and it can cut a thicker piece. It is especially useful whenever you do not need a delicate cut, as there is some vibration, and in these cases the Buehler saw is preferred, but requires careful fixturing and weighting to ensure good results. The price of one replacement blade for the Buehler is almost twice the price of this whole saw. Definitely the best saw for the money that we have found!

I recently purchased the DB100 Inland Mini Bandsaw from Tracysworkshop. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Tracys, which included email response time for a questions I had, and the timelimit for receiving the merchandise. As far as the saw goes, I was very impressed with the quality and overall appearance of the saw. You can tell that the Inland company took time in designing this little saw. The features I like about it are the variable speed motor; the smoothness with which it runs; the ease of putting the blade on; easy adjustment screw for tracking, and the design of the automatic tension on blade. Another feature I like is universal blade type use, being Diamond Blade, Woodcutting, and also Metal Cutting. Comes with the Diamond Blade! Saw has a nice Aluminum table, and Saw rests on four rubber feet to help prevent movent during use. The design of the Water resevoir I like real well and Inland recommends using a drip method instead of full flow. I can't comment much on cons, as I haven't found but one that the company I feel, could do some work on. They include a small piece of leather to be used like a slight brush against the diamond blade to help control excess water on blade. You have to mash the end of the leather down (which they recommend using a pliers)so it will slide in a small slot close to the blade. I found that not to be so easy. I cut the leather in half because the space provided for the length of leather which came with saw, I felt, was too long. I wetted the one end of the leather and used a small hammer to mash down the end then used a needlenose pliers to help slide it into slot. I haven't used this saw yet, but I have no doubt that it will serve my needs just fine, and as for the price, I believe it is hard to beat! Jack...South Carolina
