A refractory mix developed specifically for glass slumping. Its unique characteristics are:
• Renders very fine details when on detailed relief.
• Stands up to repeated firings. 40 firings for example, for a simple slump-over mold.
• Kiln wash not required for slump-over molds at temperatures below 1400°F (760°C).
• Simple to prepare. Mix 50-50 by volume with water, pour and fire.
• Finished mold can be reworked with a file, scraper, etc.
