Front surface mirror is made by vacuum depositing an aluminum coating onto the front surface of glass. Because of its high reflectivity, front surface mirror is always used in cameras, telescopes, and other precision optical instruments. In a kaleidoscope, the patterns and colors are much sharper and more intense than would be possible using ordinary mirror.
This is B-Grade mirror suitable for hobbyists and kaleidoscope enthusiasts. Each 8" x 12" sheet is laminated with a protective cover. 3/64" (1.2mm) thick. Because the mirror is very fragile, the minimum quantity we can ship is 8 pieces. |
