Hotline Colloidal Silica is used for rigidizing fiber shapes in mold making. Usage: Soak a fiber blanket in the colloidal silica, and mold the shape. Cure the product by forced heat drying, not to exceed 1300 degF (704 degC), to remove the moisture in the inorganic binder. The rigidized mold should withstand several firings.
